Quality Manager : Edinburgh : Scientific / Pharmaceutical : Quality Manager

This market leading consultancy has been established since 2004 and specialises in providing services for research, manufacturing and development for pharmaceutical organisations. Due to an expansion in the client base there is now a number of opportunities for experienced professionals to join their team in Bathgate and currently have an opening for a Quality Manager.

As the Quality Manager you will be responsible for providing management for CAPA Management and supporting all GMP functions within the site. You will also be responsible for ensuring investigations of quality issues are carried out and resulting Corrective Action/Preventative Action is tracked to closure. Other duties within this role will include:

- Ensuring QP team is made aware of complaints and non-conformances
- Coordinating the internal audit schedule ensuring audits are performed and associated CAPAs are tracked to order
- Carrying out root cause analysis and trending quality issues
- Creating, reviewing and approving SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Providing support to the quality team with deviations, planned deviations and approving validation activities

The suitable candidate will ideally be educated to a Degree level (or equivalent) and have a strong background in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical sector. Experience of working to GxP and GMP standards is essential for this role.
